Terms of Service
Last updated: October 29, 2026
The short version
- Try everything free for 3 days, then pay once to keep using it. There's no subscription.
- Your license is for you, on the number of PCs it allows. Please don't share or resell it.
- Payments, taxes and receipts are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller.
- Changed your mind? You have 14 days to ask for a refund.
1. Who we are
DropWheel is made by Abdulrahman ("we", "us"). These terms cover this website, buying DropWheel, and using the DropWheel app for Windows, its updates and its documentation (the "Software"). The license agreement you accept when you install the app says the same things.
By downloading, buying or using DropWheel you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. The free trial
DropWheel is free to try for 3 days from the first time you open it, with every feature included. When the trial ends, the wheels stop opening until you enter a license key. Your settings stay as they are.
3. Buying DropWheel
DropWheel is a one-time purchase. Our orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which sells DropWheel to you as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and sends your receipt. The price and any tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
Your license key arrives by email right after the purchase. If it doesn't, check your spam folder or contact us.
4. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software:
- during the free trial, for the trial period the Software shows; and
- after you buy a license, on as many computers as your license key allows, as shown at checkout.
To move your license to a new PC, deactivate it on the License page in Settings on the old PC, then enter your key on the new one.
The Software is licensed, not sold. Except for the open source components in section 6, we and our licensors keep all rights in it.
5. What you may not do
Except as section 6 allows, you may not:
- copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, share or redistribute the Software or your license key;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the DropWheel code in the Software, except where the law expressly allows it despite this limit;
- remove, disable or work around the trial, activation or license checks; or
- remove copyright, trademark or license notices from the Software.
6. Open source components
The Software includes open source components, such as FFmpeg, which are listed with their licenses in the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file that comes with the app. Each one is licensed to you under its own license, not these terms, and nothing here limits your rights under those licenses. In particular, for components under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), you may modify them, replace them with your own versions, and reverse engineer the Software as far as needed to debug those changes. We don't own these components; their copyright holders are named in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt.
7. Activation and your data
Your files are converted on your PC and are never uploaded. To activate and check a license, the app sends a few details to our activation server and to Lemon Squeezy. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what they are and why.
8. Updates
We may release updates to DropWheel. These terms apply to them unless an update comes with its own terms.
9. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying. Our Refund Policy explains how. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the license key stops working and the app goes back to the state it was in when the trial ended.
10. No warranty
As far as the law allows, the Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. DropWheel saves new files next to your originals instead of changing them, but please keep backups of anything important: we are not responsible for lost or damaged files.
11. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.
12. Ending your license
Your license ends if your purchase is refunded or charged back, or if you break these terms. You must then stop using the Software, except as a trial. Sections 6, 10, 11 and 13 still apply after that.
13. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be changed by contract, such as consumer protection laws where you live.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, except where your local consumer laws say otherwise.
15. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Changes don't take away rights you already have for a license you bought.
